I toured Candlestone Assisted Living. I like the airiness of the architecture, the atmosphere, and the cleanliness. They had a great courtyard for the residents to be able to look out their windows and enjoy the visual outside. Some of the apartments have a walkout patio into that courtyard so the residents can be outside at their leisure. We've dined twice there for lunch, and the food was very good. We're pleased that it is 90% from scratch. I'll presume that the rest of the meals are as good as the lunches that we have. The facility looks to be in very good condition. I met the sales staff, the chef, and the executive director, and they're very pleasant people.

Staff really care but they are busy! Be patient and don't be afraid to give reminders when needed. They have a lot going on. Families and Friends can play a very important and helpful role by simply being friendly and helpful to residents and staff alike. Activities and conversations make all the difference in the success of your loved one so get involved whenever possible. Rooms are more like small apartments- very spacious and pleasant. My Mother In Law is a resident at Candlestone. The transition has not always been smooth, but the support from the Staff has been phenomenal. The administration is very hands on. Alison, Genna, Mackenna, Anderea, Angie, Madison, Shelby, Celia and Sydney consistently go above and beyond. I certainly have missed a few names, but our family is grateful for them just the same. The Love, patience and compassion given to not only our Mother, but to our family to be able to adjust has been something we could never explain. It’s been a complete game changer.

The staff at Candlestone Assisted living are all very attentive and caring for all the residents at the facility. The facility is warm and inviting when you come in, and the whole staff is very friendly and more than happy to help you if you need anything. Mom has made friends with several of the residents and is very comfortable living there. It is comforting to know that she has nothing to worry about living there, as she is getting the best care.
