Cambridge Senior Living - Hudson is brand new. It's a beautiful place. They have smaller rooms, but the director and her sidekick were both awesome. They're very informative. They wanted to hear what my dad was like and his likes, etc. It felt like they wanted the connection and they wanted to know the person that was moving in, and I appreciated that. It was clean, refreshing, and it seemed a little brighter.

I went to Cambridge Senior Living - Hudson and it was a very good tour. It was a shorter tour than the other one. The other one was more thorough, but the staff was wonderful. We looked at a studio apartment and it was the same type of situation where my dad and mom could live together, which was very nice. The facilities were beautiful, but they were very modern, which is fine for some people, but my dad was a farmer and my mom was a homemaker. It wasn't as comfortable as the other place was. That's not really a negative, it's just a negative for my parents in particular. This was multilevel, but they had elevators, so that wouldn't have been a problem. It had a really nice dining facility area where the residents would eat. They had a beauty salon. We talked a lot about activities and games and that kind of stuff. They had lots of activities for the residents. They have different levels of care. They have one wing for memory care and one wing for the assisted living part. They have different activities for different areas. They had some nice outdoor spaces. I wasn't as comfortable with that place, but I wouldn't want to deter anybody from going there because it was a beautiful facility.

We have visited Cambridge Senior Living and saw all three levels of care. The layout was warm, inviting and very, very clean. I only had an interaction with one staff member, she was very friendly and knowledgeable in regards to the facility. They had an activity director, the only activity there that I saw was their reading time. They had a library, a movie theater, a game room, a sitting room, and an outdoor area for the residents. The staff I met was excellent.

Cambridge Senior Living-Hudson did a really good job. The tour was very thorough. They answered questions and a lot of times I didn't even have to ask the questions, because they already answered them before I even asked. The facility is new. It's clean and looks like it has all the things you would be interested in. They have dining areas and separate bistros. They provide three meals a day with snacks. They do cookouts outside then they have a gated area with a green space for memory care residents to go visit. They also have cleaning services, a salon, medical services, prescription services, and quite a few things. They are very knowledgeable, friendly, willing to answer questions, and courteous. It was very neat, well laid out, and bright.

Cambridge Senior Living - Hudson is a brand-new facility, and it's beautiful. It would be no doubt you'd want to go to this place, but it's like they're waiting for people to come in. I think they're just getting up and getting started. It'll probably be really good after it's been there, after they're a little more established, but it seems very isolated and cold. There was no music playing in the hall. They have a gift shop that was about the size of, probably six by eight, a tiny gift shop that they didn't have open. They had two separate dining rooms, so you didn't see everybody when you were eating. You went to one or the other that were on opposite sides of a very pretty sitting room, but if you went to one, then you didn't see other people. I just liked the idea of everybody in one room looking at all the people that are there, and there were not very many people there. They have immediate vacancies. I think they're just trying to get going. They did not have skilled care. They advertise skilled care, but they're working toward it they said. We don't need someone that's working toward it, we need a skilled care place. It was just limited interaction among residents. The staff was really good. The dining area was pretty, but it was divided. The rooms were beautiful. They had comforters and prints on the wall that matched. It was decorated absolutely beautifully. The facility was excellent. It was very clean, brand new, and very pretty. They have a workout room, a wellness room, or a fitness room. They have a beauty salon. I did not see a therapy room, but I saw in the dining room. They said they had just finished a therapy session, and they held it in the dining room. So, the tables were pushed back, and there was a big bouncy ball or stuff like that. Those were in the dining room because that's where they held it. Maybe that was just for that day, but I didn't see a therapy room. I just saw therapy items in the dining room. The girl that took us on a tour said that she's got her nursing degree, but she's the manager or the admissions director. She said they have a nurse that they can call 24 hours. So, we want skilled on site, and they don't have it, that's why I give it that rating.

my wife was in respite care for a month, it was our first exposure to something like that. overall it was a positive experience, they got the job done. I do think they learned a little about what they can and can't do. Cambridge is a new facility, and there were some troubles with staff and hiring new people. the ones that were there were very good and helpful. it also was not full, there were about 6-10 other residents. I think that they are learning the ropes and overall I would go back to them if they could find the additional help - (they said that they didn't have it at the time).
