Recently, my wife, who is disabled spent two days in respite care at Brynwood Health and Rehabilitation Center while I was away on a business trip. My wife has been disabled for over 10 years and we had never used respite care in the past. That stated, we were both pleased with the service and care provided by Brynwood. The staff was courteous and kind, and the administration answered all of our questions prior to her stay. My wife who presents with speech aphasia and limited function on her right side stated that the staff listened to her and communicated with her well. She was well attended to at Brynwood. My wife requires assistance with every day task. Brynwood provided her with skilled nursing care as well as companion and personal care. Honestly, I was very apprehensive about leaving her with anyone. As I stated previously, we had never used respite care before. Not withstanding, the administration and staff at Brynwood eased my fears, and I returned to find my wife, happy and well taken care of. I travel frequently for work. My mother was a patient here and the staff was so caring and gentle. This is a very nice place. I hope we never need to come back but if we do I can rest easy knowing mom is in good hands.
