My loved one is a resident at Brookdale Painted Post. The staff are very caring and kind. My only concern is having enough staff. This is more of an issues in the evenings and on weekends. This is a very nice facility and it is well kept. The move in process was very smooth for us. You can get assistance with moving, if needed. As an Assisted Living facility, I would definitely recommend Brookdale Painted Post. They also have a great activities program. If a person needs help with dressing, bathing etc the staff shortage is a challenge. As a Memory Care facility, they are extremely limited.
Read moreI think they were in a hurry to get my loved one in before thoroughly checking out his health. However, I would probably recommend this facility to family and friends because there is not a lot to choose from in the area.
Definitely best in our area. They are short staffed/cleaners and nursing staff. We've experienced prescription's getting thrown away (no reason why) - scripts not being refilled on time and sometimes going 3-4 days without trash pickup or new towels.
The food is good. They have daily activities. We feel like we are getting what we are paying for. The coordinator has been awesome. We were reffered to Brookdale by APFM, and it did not look like a nursing home, and was a better atmosphere, and had lots of activites.

Brookdale Painted Post is a really good place for your mom, dad, or both parents. I think the staff shortages right now can lead to minor communication problems. But overall my loved one is very happy there. Everyone I've met there have been super nice, friendly, and seem to be very caring about the residents. Communication has been good between the community and our family. Anytime I have questions, they answer them. I had a lot of questions, which was really more ironing things out when my loved one moved in. We had some small problems in the beginning, but were able to get those issues straightened out. My loved one has made new friends while being there and I would recommend Brookdale to others.

I toured Brookdale Painted Post. It's a large facility. It's all on one floor. It was clean. I didn't hear any complaints about the food. They have good activities. It's fairly close to my home here, so I can go to church and have my friends visit. It's a fairly rural location so you can walk about the premises. They have games and they have a beauty shop for haircuts. I called them today and they were just informative.
