All staff members we've seen interact with my mother- in- law have treated her kindly and - most importantly - with respect. The staff is always quick to answer our questions. The facility itself is clean, doesn't smell, is modern, and they have a lovely courtyard/garden area that my mother-in-law just loves. I would absolutely recommend The Colonnade at Carrollwood to others looking, they have been great and my mother-in-law is very happy here.

We like The Colonnade at Carrollwood because the aesthetics were great. It's a really beautiful facility and there were a lot of activities. Everyone that we talked to was really happy that they chose to be there. The staff did a great job of engaging the residents. Everybody was very friendly with each other. They were very outgoing and overall, it felt more like a resort than a retirement community. I ate there with my father and the food was excellent. The menu choices were great. He's super excited to move there. They have bingo, poker nights, and Jeopardy tournaments where they travel to other assisted living facilities. Sometimes they'll come in. It's kind of a multi-facility tournament with Jeopardy. They've also got church services for multiple different denominations and outings. They've just got a bit of everything going on.

My overall experience at The Colonnade at Carrollwood was good. I thought the facility was nice, and they're friendly people. It was all on a single floor, which is good, but it was so large that it would take time to get to know where you were going. The place was very clean. It looked modern and updated. They have a walk-out garden area. As far as activities, they had arts, getting together with other members of the community, playing cards and puzzles, and things like that.

We needed to find an ALF for my sister. This was new to her, not having complete independence as was the experience for me of finding and going through the move-in process. We've been there for over 2 months. The first 30 days was an adjustment for us learning what the expectations and processes were. My sister had medical issues that first couple of months which added to the adjustment. Let me tell you about the staff! There is a flyer given to you when you move in to recognize a special staff member. I needed a stack of them! Just seeing most of them bring a smile to my heart. We spent the 1st 45 days in a respite room while they updated a room for her. We decorated and furnished her new "home" and I love going in and sitting with her. We have sat outside in the back garden area. We have enjoyed the company of many of the residents in the lounge. The entertainment & outings are sufficient to keep the residents active. The food is yummy and the portion ample. 5 Stars!
