This place likes moral. Caring. Services. It takes over 10 minutes at times to get a response to the diner bell or clown horn you’re given when you’re checked in. You have to almost beg for what you need and I’ve only been here 5 days and they’ve run out my medication shooting my no up. I’ll ask for ANYTHING from tissue to my medication, it takes them more than 10 minutes to get it and now I must lay here in pain because they ran out of my medication that keeps my pain and no under control. The halls are cluttered with equipment making this place a fire hazard. I was in the shower and a man just walked in. Ppl just walk in your room making me not feel safe. Even staff asked me WHY DID MY FAMILY PLACE ME HERE?because the online reviews are a lie. Please DO NOT PLACE YOUR FAMILY HERE please. Like right now my deed side toilet has been needing empty all day. Full of urine and feces this place is a breeding ground for disease and germs. All in all this place SUCKS! Do not come here. Its awful. Still don’t have my medication after 5 hours. This odd shameful and I can speak but what of the others, who can’t. I am amending my previous preview to report an assault witness last night March 15, 2024 in the hours between 7 PM and 7:30 PM we’re a male resident who seems to be capable physically attacked an elderly, black woman and wheelchair who is not as capable I saw him put his hands around her throat. He choked her, and when she lifted her arms to protect herself, he grabbed both her arms and he shook her and then he grabbed her wheelchair, spun her around And shoved her up the hall. All the wow there was no staff to be around. This was not only with by myself but I had family here also that witness the entire incident I have asked to file a formal complaint. No one knew that this happened and I reported the staff last night when I saw them , they didn’t even know anything had happened and I asked them to check on her to make sure she was OK I left feeling unsafe and traumatized. I am here for rehab not to witness criminal activity. No police was called. No administration was called. No incident report was made out , no one came to speak to me to find out what it happened. I had to bring it to their attention. I am here for rehab not referee as I stated before administration seems to not care about what goes on when they are not here and crap rolls downhill and starts at the head And the state of Illinois needs to be called into investigate this place the DAs office should be called and apparently he has not done this before but it seems that he is allowed to still walk freely and roll the hall know what to say he won’t walk in my room And attack me or attack my roommate we are both weak in our body but not our mind, but I was a Visual witness to this, and will keep on writing until something is done because this is not right in any reviews on here and say this place is a good place to send your family must be written by people that work for this company because I have yet to see or hear anything that says this place should not be shut down in the live online does not depict the actions that are going on in this facility in real time why he is allowed to be here and not in a mental institution is not my job, but this is not a place if he is that combative and that violent and allowed to still be here as I stated, I feel unsafe and traumatized and something needs to be done. This is the weekend and I plan on falling a formal complaint on Monday morning to see if anything will be done.
