My mom has been here since April 2023. She is adjusting well. I have the codes for the door sp I can come and go when I want. Staff is excellent!

We went to Bradfield Terrace. The tour was great. What I liked the best is the activities they had posted pretty much every day. I was impressed with that. They keep their guests involved. It was nice. The staff said that they play cornhole, which kind of helps to mobilize and to exercise their limbs and things of that nature. They play bingo. Wheel of Fortune is something that she said that they did. They have a church in which they involve their residents there. They take them to Braum's and to Wal-Mart once a month. I didn't taste any of the food, but they did tell me that they provide three meals a day. If the residents did not want whatever they were serving, the residents could order like Uber Eats or whatever and have some food delivered to them. They also provided snacks that they can get at any time. They provide the care that's needed. I saw one of the rooms. I don't know if they're all set up like that, but the residents can bring in their own beds. They don't provide a bed for them so they can have their bed and a chair in there to kind of make it like a one-bedroom efficiency. They have a little kitchen in there, a small refrigerator, and a microwave, and they have a walk-in shower, which they don't share with anyone. The staff was good. I think one of them was the director. I'm not sure what the other person's title was. Both of them were very nice and very knowledgeable about the facility and all that goes on. It seemed like they had a pretty good rapport with some of the residents there. They knew some of them by name, and as we walked around the building. They were very nice. It seemed like it was all very well-kept and clean. Everything seemed like it was up to par. We saw one of the little breakroom areas and it was well-lit and had plenty of seating in there. I was impressed with the facility.

My very first encounter with [name removed] at Bradfield Terrace, the first thing she asked me was 'how is your mom and how can we help her?' When I visited other facilities, the first question they asked me is ' how many other places have you toured?' My mother is not a product to be sold or bought and that is one of the reasons I went with Bradfield Terrace. They genuinely care. The staff is wonderful. Housekeeping is done regularly. Communication with the family is good, they also have a newsletter. Overall, the food is good. Weekends tend to be sparse for meals. The facility has a low number of residents, which I personally love. Everybody knows my mother on a personal basis. I love Bradfield Terrace. I would recommend them to other families.

I''d visit my mother nearly every week and the other residents frequently complained of the facility being understaffed and the food quality being poor. As for my mom, it was pulling teeth trying to get someone to clean her room adequately and do her laundry, no matter how many people I asked or how a plan was worked out. Nobody seemed to communicate with anybody or they just didn''t care. A police report and state investigation had to happen because of something that happened when she first moved in but wasn''t found out until months later. There were some nice people that worked there but the staff changes very frequently. Some would just hide in the kitchen to avoid residents and family. The front door entrance system has been "under maintenance" for so long that I don''t think anybody actually has a plan of fixing it. The biggest problem I have with them is too extensive to put in a review. You need to educate yourself about these places and know what to expect when your loved one needs a higher level of care. They are a business first and foremost. Know you have the right to contact an ombudsman if you have concerns.

I think Bradfield Place is one of the best if not the best in the area - and I looked everywhere - except when it comes to visitation. You have to knock on the door and wait for somebody to come and let you in. They won't give you the code, so sometimes you have to stand out in the rain or cold until someone can let you in. That is something that needs to be addressed immediately. But the staff is great. They're very friendly and very cooperative. And I think they're truly concerned about their residents.

We toured Bradfield Place. The first thing we experienced was that the staff was very friendly. The director waited on us. He was fairly new to the organization, but he was already very attentive and very knowledgeable. We toured around the facilities, and the first thing my sister said is that it feels like a home. That is really nice. It doesn't feel like a facility, it feels like a home. When we first walked in it, it looked small and cozy, but it was actually very spacious inside. There are different rooms and even the smallest one is functional. We kind of like the bigger room because then that would be enough space to have a table and a chair for visitors or something like that in the room. It actually looked better than other places that we saw in California in terms of space. Overall, we like it. There's a little cozy garden in the back that provides enough privacy. It's the lowest price for the money. We like it a lot. The rooms are furnished, and we just request whatever we need to be in the room, like a bed, a table, a chair, and stuff like that. They bring in like a hairstylist for personal grooming.
