I am speaking from experience. Very poor communication. Food is bad. Make sure u ask for double portions. some treat u like a prisoner. A lot of Staff doesn''t have no people skills in the kitchen, they rude and mean. NURSES and CNA''S are nice overall. I like unit 5 and the social workers are nice

I have worked with this facility several times in the past. I think we have to remember the type of facility this is. This is one of the very few facilities that still provides care to patients who are otherwise denied at other facilities. Criminal records and extreme behaviors are accepted here. I commend this facility and its stakeholders for each day they walk into the facility because it can be just as risky as walking in a prison. I would encourage family members to be present, assit in de-escalation, and perhaps the “prison” feel may minimize.
Read moreNothing but highly processed food, complain about anything they make up lies and call your probation officer. They could care less about residents and they make that clear. They do put on a show for visitors.

My dad is there. They treat him, and me so fantastic. He is so happy there, and they feed him well and take good care of him. When I visit they are so kind to me. This place is a blessing.
