so I''m a resident at Bloomfield nursing home and its really not a bad place. i especially love the therapy dept. they are hard workers and never forget to make it fun. you honestly forget you''re working sometimes because you''re having such a good time. they teach you so much you need to know especially as a paraplegic how to function without needing assistance and being able to do things all by yourself . Tom, Vicky, and Omar are the GRAND SLAM trio they work amazing together always make sure to make their room feel homey . As a resident here they make my stay so much better , relieve my stress of missing home because they just feel like friends . I can honestly just say as a resident they make my stay here so much better, relaxed, and comfortable.

Our family is so grateful for the care of our family member who is a resident at BFN&R. They take extra effort in communicating with family whether by telephone or text messages on updates of our lived one, upcoming hospital visits/appointments, activities or services offered. This communication. Is appreciated as we cannot be with our family member at all times. Staff are courteous and friendly on our visits. We appreciate the staff very much in taking care of our family member. Thank you to all the staff at BFN&R!

They feed them slop like they would pigs in a pin. It''s a jail without bars! Please if you have loved ones there and care save them . And if you are offered this place for family reject it.

This place does not deserve 1 star. Ricky tells me to keep in touch... I call he doesn''t answer. He''s always in a meeting. Definitely not discussing on how to improve the work ethic of his staff. I have been asking for my loved one''s missing belongings for the past 2 months and the only response I get is... it''s probably in the laundry. When the laundry staff said it''s not there. Ricky said he would find it but like I said to this day these items are still missing and I haven''t heard from Ricky. Let''s hope this new person I spoke with actually does what he says he''s going to do. After all that''s happened to my loved one there, this facility still shows a 100% lack of care. Honestly, I think the only caring attitude they have is in the responses to their Google reviews.
Read moreTerrible staff and they are verbally abusive to residents. 100% negligence. They make fun of residents when family members call for updates. No communication on what''s going on with residents until a resident starts to hit back. Then they... Nurses& facility director, blame the resident.
