It was just very pleasant out there. We liked that it's kind of small and that it's family-oriented. The people seemed to be very nice. The staff who assisted us was very, very pleasant and knowledgeable. They could furnish the room for you if you want, or you can bring in your own stuff. The one thing that was kind of off putting is we didn't see any of the other residents around.

The staff at Birdee Cottage Assisted Living & Memory Care was friendly. The place was really home-like, the rooms and the facility itself were very clean, organized, and very welcoming. The rooms were sufficient for what they needed. They told me what the menu was gonna be, which was more home-cooked food, and the cook was very friendly. They specialize in Alzheimer's patients, more so than I think nursing homes do.
