My mother was recently a resident at Birchwood. I wanted to post this review as I know the hesitation most feel when we have to place a loved one in a nursing home. There are so many stories about bad nursing homes that we start to think that there aren''t any good ones. Thank goodness I was referred to Birchwood which I found to be a very trustworthy facility. Trustworthy is a HUGE word when you''re leaving the care of a loved one in the hands of others. The employees at Birchwood treated my mother like family and my mother appreciated it. The office staff and Director for the facility are just as focused on the care of their residents. I can''t thank them enough for the peace they provided my mom and I during her final time on this earth. Thank you.

The staff are experienced, and the care is consistent. The place is clean and well maintained. The staff are polite, professional and the management is hands on and make sure they provide the quality that all the residents deserve. Everyone deserves knowledgeable and compassionate nursing care, and this facility strives to please. I sent my family here, I was not disappointed!
