I went to Birch Hollow Family. It was a single family house. They don't have a ramp, they have a back door which you can go in with the wheelchair, but the front door has no ramp. The room was so crowded, the kitchen and the living room were so crowded, and I felt like there was no space for a little bit of mobile activity, at least to go for a little walk. The kitchen was full of food, and on the table, on the countertop, it was full of things. Maybe somebody likes that style, but I don't. The staff was welcoming, warm, like family. It's a ranch house, it's small, and the rooms are shared by two people, and I didn't like that either.

I completed the tour at Birch Hollow Family. It's a residential home. It was not what I was looking for. The rooms were small and residents had to share one full bath. The half bath had a step down. The eating area, it's all like bar stool level, just wouldn't work out for my mother, ...

I completed the tour at Birch Hollow Family. It's a residential home. It was not what I was looking for. The rooms were small and residents had to share one full bath. The half bath had a step down. The eating area, it's all like bar stool level, just wouldn't work out for my mother, and there were stairs going into the home. The staff was the owners, they were willing to make changes to my concerns, but they were difficult to understand while wearing mandatory masks.
