I would recommend Encore at Hugo to others for their loved ones. I feel that [name removed] did a good job and most of the staff were kind. The most important thing was I was comfortable leaving my loved one here.
We chose Encore at North branch because the staff that we talked with were wonderful and helpful. We liked that the facility was not too big, some places we looked at were just way too big. We chose Encore at North branch because the staff that we talked with were wonderful and helpful. We liked that the facility was not too big, some places we looked at were just way too big. And also the location was great for our family. I think they do a fantastic job of offering activities and building community among the residents. Overall it has been a good transition and I would recommend them.

Moving into assisted living is not an easy or wanted transition. The caring staff helped ease the transition for Dad by listening and being attentive to his needs, hearing his stories and treating him like family.

It seems like the staff that they have there have been there for a really long time, and that says a lot about the care that they're providing. We've used them a few times for respite, and everybody remembers my loved one and is always really welcoming. It's always been very clean every time I've been there. They put effort into planning activities to try to get people engaged every day, but it seems like people end up spending a lot of time in their rooms, although I understand that's just kind of the nature of this type of place, especially with short staffing.
