I have worked many years in Long-term Care Facilities, as well as my sister and my mother being a RN at one. We would NEVER EVER treat families the way we were treated by their Nursing Manager staff, while trying to visit our grandmother whose health is actively declining. We are well aware of COVID-19 protocols and guidelines and well aware of the Compassionate Care Act and very willing to follow all of these guidelines so that our dying loved one not be alone in last days, weeks, months. Very unprofessional and disheartening. Makes us wonder if that''s how we are treated, how is she treated? The only good I can say is that her one CNA we were able to have contact with was very patient, professional and compassionate. Since they spend the most time doing direct cares I am thankful to know that. I feel my loved one is being neglected of her rights and will be taking the necessary steps to report this.

It''s a lot harder to get a job here than it should be. Their HR department, or whoever is in charge of background checks and vaccinations is completely unorganized and it takes forever for things to get done if you don''t pester(call) them on every single matter to make sure everything is getting done or if they need you to do something in order to move forward with getting the job. I''m serious, I was told I had a job over a MONTH ago and I''m still having to deal with this. Also, this person''s name may or may not start with a G. If I get accepted elsewhere for a position in the meantime, I won''t be hesitant upon accepting. If they are that disorganized about getting me set up for the job, I don''t want to think about how it''ll be to actually work under this person.

My mother is a resident, and we''re all impressed with the care she receives. They are taking exceptional precautions to keep Covid out of the facility.
