Facility is very clean, staff is helpful and friendly. Residents all look very well kept. Our church has a church service the 4th Sunday of every month and the staff is very pleasant and helpful in assisting residents to church service.
Extremely polite, experienced, & caring.
They are wonderful to my mother. They are always friendly and helpful to the family
My family feels safe and comfortable and very well cared for thanks to everyone there caring for her. Her room is nice and comfortable and the food is very good. I feel better knowing she is in a good caring environment. Many thanks!

My mother entered Bertrand Nursing after suffering a stroke. We had a trip planned to Gatlinburg and had to take her out for the trip. She was very excited about the trip. Before bringing her home, we had to do a home visit with Drew the physical therapist. The day of the home visit, I went to mom’s room and she was not there. But after a few minutes she came walking in and she wanted to wear one of the outfits I brought her. I stepped out of her room so she could change. Drew approached me and began to they’ll me that mom has dementia and she can’t ever find her room and someone always has to bring her to her room. She told me mom would never walk without a walker, she will never drive again and she will never be able to live alone. We then went into mom’s room and Drew told mom that I was in the hall waiting for her. Mom tried to tell Drew that she knew I was out there, but Drew kept talking over her and telling me that mom didn’t know I was there. When we started to leave for the home visit, Drew told me to follow mom so I could see that she doesn’t know where to go. Mom went out her door, down the hall and to the front door with no problem. When we returned after the home visit, mom went straight to her room with no problem. Drew flat out lied to me and it was very obvious that Drew was only interested in filling a bed. After the Gatlinburg trip, mom went to Delta South Rehabilitation to complete her Physical Therapy and had a complete recovery from her stroke. She lived on her own, Her mind was perfectly fine, she did not use a walker, and she could have driven, but she was afraid to. There was no way mom was going back to Bertrand Nursing and Rehabilitation. I don’t like being lied to like that. If your lies are that obvious, then maybe you shouldn’t be dealing with the public.
