As a professional in the area of senior living, it is difficult not to find fault with competing communities''. After visiting Sunrise Bedford Court several times, I can safely say, I would absolutely refer to this community. When walking in, the community is clean and welcoming. The concierge was engaging with residents as if they were family! The apartments were nicely sized and include everything that an aging adult needs to feel independent - built around safety outside the door! If you are looking for assisted living, this is your place to visit first!

Bedford Court is filthy, poorly maintained, and offers a shockingly terrible head doctor and nurse. Sunrise should be ashamed to have their good name affiliated with such a horrible place. Bedford Court is filthy, poorly maintained, and offers a shockingly terrible head doctor and nurse. Sunrise should be ashamed to have their good name affiliated with such a horrible place. My father arrived at Bedford straight from the hospital and was placed in a dirty room that had not yet had the bed linens changed from the previous resident. Disgusting. There is a long list of bad experiences with the doctor and head nurse, who were wrongheaded on my father’s care and were highly offended when my mother questioned their actions. I wish we had never sent my father to Bedford Court and I hope no one else chooses this horrible place for their loved ones.

I have attended several healthcare networking events hosted by Bedford Court. I have found both events enjoyable and was treated with warm hospitality, food, and a chance to meet others partners in the senior care industry. This week was a demonstration given by the culinary director; it was both engaging and interesting. Bedford Court also offers periodic continuing education opportunities (CEU). I look forward to attending future events and training sessions.

I toured Bedford Court. It was very nice, and everybody seemed to be very friendly. They have a very nice setup. The only thing I didn't like is that there's no garage parking. The apartments were nice, but they weren't as roomy as I thought they would be. They have an exercise room, and they do a lot of day trips with a group. There's another little place where they can do exercises together, too. They have a library and a bank. You have to fend for yourself to find parking, though. Parking is kind of tight. The staff were very helpful and very friendly. I was only there one day but everybody was very nice. They got me some water while I waited for my appointment. I got a nice tour, and she showed me the apartments. We had to go through one place, and it was under construction. And she says it normally doesn't look like that. She said they keep it nice and neat. And you could tell because they were cleaning up a little part that they had just messed up. They could have just left it there for a day or so, but they were right on it, cleaned it up, and moved to the next problem, so, very organized.
