The nurses and CNA‘s are fantastic but if you are in need of physical therapy do not go to this place it’s terrible the therapy here is horrible I am 39 years old I had a stroke a year ago and I still can’t walk they just don’t know what they’re doing

If I could give them 0 stars I would. My brother went to Bartow Center after being hospitalized for 1 month he is an amputee and went there after they started amputating his other foot. He left the hospital with specific instructions to hook up his wound vac to his foot within two hours. He had part of his foot amputated and this was a necessary step for proper healing. I told the DON I was not leaving until it was hooked up, 18 hours later they attached it to his foot. My brothers foot did not heal properly, was infected and he received his second Below the knee amputation as a result, he is now a double amputee. They did not give him the renal/diabetic diet that he required. No blood sugar checks or blood pressure checks which were all on his discharge instructions. Patients are to go to water stations set up in the halls to get water, this was impossible for my brother as he couldn''t get out of bed, he was always without water. Most of the time there were no cups at the water stations. Most of the staff were rude and not able to provide basic needs. He was there less than a week and was re-hospitalized for amputation and infection. I did file a report with the state!

I don’t even want to put 1 star but you have to to leave a review. This place needs to be shut down!!! My grandpa was transported there after his hospital stay and hasn’t even been in this a place a month and caught Covid they placed him in isolation. Everytime some one from family went to check on him they didn’t have his pants on him he was just in his depends his clothes were thrown on the floor wrinkled. His room was nasty like they never picked up. Went to check on him today and he is skin and bones couldn’t even wake up to see who was in the room and all the staff just looked at us like we were crazy for having the reaction that we did!! He is back in the hospital now. Absolutely disgusting!!!!!

The Bartow Center was a very caring facility for my husband. The nurses and caregivers treated us like family. They not only took care of my husband, but they took care of me too with kindness. I spent a lot of time there with my husband and got to know many of the caregivers. My husband was treated and cared for by professional and gentle hands. This facility is a little older, but is well kept and clean. Dana (Administration) always treated me with the same kindness and professionalism as her nurses and care staff. Dana especially helped me get into a care facility closer to my home so I would not have to drive so far to be with my husband. Thank You to Everyone at The Bartow Center.

They don’t deserve a star at all. I was there less than 48 hours. When I left Tampa Regional hospital I was stable. Within 48hours of arriving at Bartow, I was on my deathbed. I required oxygen but was only given a tank if I saw that it was empty. I was having seizures of which they were not equipped to handle. The medications that I needed were not available the entire time I was there. They told me I was just anxious. I left by ambulance AMA. That is why I am alive today. Don’t trust administration. They lie to your face and to your family.
