My father wasn’t even there a full day. They lied to me on phone saying he would be able go outside anytime he wants. Also I called hours trying to get through to make sure my father was ok. When staff finally answered they said they would call back. Hours when back no call I tried get through again for hours and when finally the nurse picked up was really rude and lied to me what hospital they sent my dad too also hung up on me while trying to find out. I will never bring my dad back there or recommend anyone bringing there loved ones there. Call the person in charge she also did not care about what they did denying everything what her nurses did or what was told to me. I would give 0 stars if I was able too

Ballwin Ridge Nursing Facility is an excellent rehab place. I was there for16 days and received the best of care. Workers were always very friendly and tried to give you the best of care. The food was excellent and also offered an alternative if you didn’t like what was on the menu. You could also ask for a special request and they would get it for you. It was clean and tidy. All of the staff helped in any area they were needed. The therapy staff were great and went above and beyond When leaving I received hugs and encouragement for my health. They had all my paperwork ready and it went smoothly. I would recommend this facility to anyone.

This place is a freaking disgrace! If I could give it 0 stars I would! They are rude, neglect their patients, and the people working there have no human compassion. This place should be shut down. No body should be treated this way. Here are a few examples. My uncle was left in his dirty depends for hours. He ended up getting an UTI infection. On top of that he was struggling to breathe and when we asked someone to check on him they took their sweet time getting to him and when they did acted like they were being bothered. Says that he does it all the time when clearly there was something wrong with him. He could have died and they didn’t care. As long as they weren’t being bothered by it. If you love someone please don’t send them to this horrible place. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy here. It is absolutely horrible!

DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONE HERE. My mother in law has been here for less than a day and we''re already trying to get her out. The nurses had no idea MIL was transferred here for rehabilitation. Someone has only checked on her once and even when we go tell them she needs her medicine or food or whatever nothing happens. The entire point of a care facility is that these people take care of our loved ones who need specialized attention and they definitely are not doing that here.

I only gave 2 stars because there is a mother/daughter team of CNAs that did an amazing job taking care of my sister. The facility and the rest of the staff deserve 1 star. We had to constantly fight with the staff for my sister to get a bath. At one point she went 2 weeks without a bath. I called and talked to the director Jessica and she said that baths were being documented but my sister said she had not gotten a bath. I told Jessica that there was no way she was getting bathed because she smelled really bad. Jessica''s response was that maybe that was because my sister was a heavy girl and that could be why she smelt bad. REALLY?? My sister had to miss dialysis appointments and important chemo appointments due to lack of communication with transportation. I would try to verify her appointments with staff but no one would take any information because it was someone else''s job. Anytime I would call and try to talk to someone I would get the run-around. I live 50 minutes away so I cannot just stop by to communicate with staff. We have found a different facility for my sister and hopefully she won''t have to go back
