Most of the time when we came to visit the residents were sitting around watching tv or in their rooms. The MD wouldn't listen to our concerns/wants. Most of the time when we came to visit the residents were sitting around watching tv or in their rooms. The MD wouldn't listen to our concerns/wants. Our LO was placed on some serious meds and had never taken any before. Our LO was accused of "aggression." There was no history of aggression. The bedrooms are unlocked throughout the day so they wander around into places they shouldn't be. They insisted LO needed an inpatient psychiatric admission. At that point we went to go pick up our LO and their belongings because we were fed up. We wrote to administration and sent certified about our concerns but no reply. Turnover is ridiculous. Staff would leave without explanation. The admissions dir. is now at another facility, too. Thankfully, we found a facility where LO is happy and well cared for. No heavy meds or need for a psych facility. For the $XXXX [amount removed] monthly rate at Bader you definitely do not get what you pay for. It's a beautiful facility but that means nothing if the care is subpar.
