I came here from the hospital to finish my long-term antibiotics for an infection in my spine and to get physical therapy to get my legs working again. I have been here for about a month and I am just so grateful that I was able to get a room here. The staff are very diligent and attentive. They have really taken care of me here and they pull together to make magical things happen when it appears to be a disaster and I honor every single one of these amazing people who preserved my life and helped restore me. This administration have really been on top of keeping things operational for the facility and it has been a blessing to have come here. Thank you to everyone who works here and God bless y''all. I highly recommend this place. -Dustin Fisher

This place has turned hands a lot over the years. Current management and staff are trying their best to make the place better. What people do not realize is that there is a lot of turnover in this industry. COVID has tremendously made things worse. The Respiratory Therapy Department and Rehabilitation Department here are TOP NOTCH!! Many success stories of people improving on Vents and Trachs. Multiple success stories of people walking out of this facility when it previously seemed highly unlikely. The facility is undergoing renovations to update it. New floors, new hallways and ceilings. The management team themselves are painting and cleaning the rooms to spruce them up! They are that dedicated to creating a more homelike environment for the residents. Unfortunately many complaints stem from the fact that families, who are going through really hard times with their loved one, do not understand how the system works. Also, you just cannot please everyone. More people are apt to complain and write a bad review than someone who is pleased with the care in the facility. The Nursing Administration is trying their absolute best to improve Quality of Care. From what I have heard about staffing ratios at other facilities, Accordius is far from short staffed. I have heard that other facilities operate their CNAs on a 1:30 ratio. That is most definitely not the case here. Resident activities include daily activities but also events for the holidays. There is a Resident Council so that the residents have a voice in their care and treatment. This facility has the potential to be a 5-Star rating. Just you wait and see!

If I could rate it a 0 I would. The facility had a week or so to prepare for a new patient''s arrival, when arriving their wasn''t a room or bed ready. After waiting an hour or so the room the patient was placed in had no electric bed nor any working devices, such as a call button, how do you run a nursing home without a call button? a bed was found but without any side bars and a hand held call bell that you shake was given to the patient...really...who does that....the patient was to weak to hold anything .... The floor was filthy, have pictures to show. It''s painful enough for a loved one to go into a nursing facility but even worse when its in total disarray, isn''t friendly or welcoming. That is what''s needed in nursing facility''s are warm welcoming staff to make the patient and family feel more at ease leaving them in someone else''s care and with and working devices. Would not recommend this place to anyone.
