This is a very good place to work! When you come here as a patient-you become part of the family. The new updates in the facility are really charming-very welcoming feel.
Waaaaay too slow. It takes hours to get your discharge paperwork. Not a big deal, except you’re stuck with no food or drink because they got rid of the vending machines and still have their cafeteria closed down. Should I order delivery at this point? Still waiting - nearly 3 hours now.
Waters Edge has a great team that care for their residents like they are their very own family. Its clean, warm, and welcoming--a great resource for loved ones who need rehab or nursing home care.
I love this place! They are all like family. I couldn''t ask for more caring people!!!

My husband is in Avalon Village Healthcare. It's excellent and the care is very good. He's thriving there. The staff has been very helpful, very courteous, and has gone overboard in a few cases. His room is small, but he has everything he needs. The food is pretty good, and they got him to start eating. He enjoys sing-alongs. They have a dining room, a therapy room, a common room, areas that have birds in them (which everybody loves), and a big sitting area. He's safe, they're taking care of his medical issues, their social workers and caseworkers have gone out of their way to help me get him on Medicaid, and get him the things he needs. They transport him to his medical appointments.
