My mother will be moving into Auburn Hill Senior Living. It's a very well taken care of place. It was obviously newer and the people were really helpful. It seemed like it was, just based on the environment where it's located, a good place for my mother. When I went, I saw the residents eating dinner, and I spoke to a few ladies that were eating and they were very happy with the place. I did visit all what they had, but none of that was going on at the time. They had a really nice movie room, a really nice place to get your hair done, like a hairdresser place, and the dining facility was excellent. The food that I read on the menu was nice. They had bingo nights and stuff like that. I visited a bunch of places, and out of all the ones I visited, that one and one other were the top two that I liked. They were the best out of what I saw.

We've placed my mother-in-law at Auburn Hill Senior Living. What I like the most is that the place is very accommodating. You call them and ask them for a favor, and they'll go up to her room and do whatever she needs, no questions asked. They're super-duper nice, the staff is just very kind. You could tell that they enjoy their job and they enjoy the people, they have a playful and light-hearted work environment which is good. They have a lot of things going on, they have bingo, they have a movie theater then they can go and sit in these comfy chairs. They've got a bistro where they can just go sit and have a drink that they serve. They also provide cleaning services. It overlooks the lake, which is a beautiful place to go out and sit when the weather is nice. My mother-in-law loves the food. It's expensive but it's more valuable for the money than the other places that we've reviewed.

My mom has moved into Auburn Hill Senior Living. Everything has gone very smoothly. Everybody's been very efficient, and my mom had been treated very well. Everybody's very polite at the facility. It's quite comprehensive. The facility is fairly new, I think in the last two years, so it looks very new, nothing's dated. Her room is very bright. The finishings in the room are higher end. She's got a little kitchen, with a nice, hard-surface counter. The amenities in the bathroom were nice, and the space is efficiently used. There's a pocket door to go to the bathroom, which leaves a wide entry, and then the door doesn't get in the way. There's a movie theater, a beauty salon, and a lot of activity rooms. It's just bright and airy and has a gorgeous view looking over the reservoir. My mom is in love with the food. She's met the chefs, talked with them, and she has just been so happy to not have to cook her own meals. She's enjoyed all of the food, and there's a menu that she can pick from. She gets a calendar weekly with all the different activities, and she started participating in them in her first week there.
Read moreThe staff at Auburn Hill are friendly and welcoming. The facility is nicely located on the waterfront with a nice view. And I've been fine with the care my loved one is receiving there.
I absolutely LOVED Auburn hill and would move to this facility myself. It is beautiful and they gave us a wonderful tour experience. Unfortunately it was too expensive for our budget otherwise it would have been our first choice.

They had grilling, picnics, and stuff. It was real homey. The staff was very helpful, and very compassionate with sharing the experiences of some of the other folks that lived there. She was very knowledgeable. It was a well-kept facility. We did not eat there, but everything that we saw looked very nice. The dining area was very nice and very spacious. They had all kinds of activities. That particular day, they were having a Mardi Gras. They have a nice beauty salon, and they also offered rides to different areas on certain days, and rides to the doctor appointments on certain days. They had Bible studies. There was a lot of activity.
