It is a warm and friendly place where folks can mingle and socialize with the many programs offered, or choose more time on their own. It's family, not a hotel! Several family members have been or are there. What more could you ask for, looking for a safe and comfortable place for mom or dad?

When we learned my mother could no longer live independently, we worried about what a new living situation might look like for her. We discovered The Village at Towngate, and are so grateful for the caring community there. Residents are treated with kindness and respect. There are activities for all ages and abilities, and because it is not a large facility, the staff gets to know each resident and their needs. The property is well-cared for - both the interior of the building as well as the communal space outside. My mother has enjoyed warm fellowship and fun outings, and we feel assured she''s receiving the support and care she needs. Families and visitors are welcomed warmly, and we see the staff go out of their way to provide a safe and comfortable environment for all. The Village at Towngate is everything we hoped for, and more, for my mom!

My parents were residents at Willow Ridge and our family could not have been happier! The facility is very clean, updated and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! The room sizes are typical of any assisted living location but all have their own bathrooms (some have showers, some are just powder rooms). The common areas - TV, activity room, dining room - are wonderful and the management goes out of their way to make every room very comfortable and homey. They always have coffee available, will bring any resident a snack or drink at any time of day or night and they go to the extreme to keep people safe. They have a 2 minute requirement to respond to any "Call" from a resident - residents all have call sensors on lanyards and wristbands as well as call/help buttons in each room. If you are looking for an assisted living location that has a real "home" feel, this is the right place and the owners are wise enough to keep their prices reasonable and not gouge families! I cannot say enough good things about this place!

I liked that the Village at Towngate was a smaller community and they were very in touch with their clients. It was very intimate. The staff came across as very caring and very interested in finding out about the potential member and what the needs were, that sort of thing. It's a bit dated. Some of the facility is upgraded and some are not. They had a courtyard. They were upkeeping it pretty nicely. It's just that it's an older building, and so it needs updating. A hospital is right nearby.

They provided medical transport, ADLs, and medication management. They offer all of those things. The staff who gave us the tour was Adam, and he was great.
