I''m very pleased with the care my mom is receiving. The staff is wonderful . Great doctor, nurses, aides , therapists, activities staff, kitchen staff, maintenance workers, front desk , Ashley the social worker and all other support staff.
Resident fell out of wheelchair. Some staff very nice, respectful, & hardworking. Some are lazy, rude, sarcastic, surf the Web @ the nurse''s station, & leave earliest possible minute even if their work isn''t done. Resident fell out of wheelchair. Some staff very nice, respectful, & hardworking. Some are lazy, rude, sarcastic, surf the Web @ the nurse''s station, & leave earliest possible minute even if their work isn''t done. Very disappointed in quality of care, especially with the prices charged. A resident fell out of bed 2 months ago, & suffered devastating brain injuries from which he did not recover. He was sent to a hospital. After he died, I could hear staff telling his family to collect all his belongings in bags. This was 20 minutes after he passed away. I was on phone with family at the time. They were devastated and in shock. I could not believe the insensitivity of the staff towards his family members.

We''re pretty new so I''m only reserving a star so I can update and add it on. I don''t get all balled up here, like I did when I did a spot check over at that other nursing home in Emerson, which was truly awful. The other family members I see, they''re not stressed or upset, the atmosphere is relaxed and you can tell that people care. It''s my husband''s mother here, but they told my sister in law she could come any time, day or night. Thanks G-d that MIL sleeps thru the nite, but just the fact that they said we were welcome there any time really helps. My nieces go see Bubbe every day, and they report back about something good. Second year of college, they''re twins studying nursing, so this is good experience for them. They say that a few of the nurses there even give them pointers. Thanks G-d we chose here!
