Left in soiled bed, slid out of a chair and laid in the floor for a hour and no one answered call light. He called 911 after scooting to the bedside table to get his cellphone (had a severe broken hip/femur who contacted the he nursing station to help him up Also had bed sores due to neglect. I could go on and on. After his first visit with us surgeon he advised us to get him out of there and take him home. If you care about your loved ones, don’t take them to Arbrook Plaza!

If I had the option to give this facility ZERO stars I would. As a Healthcare professional for over 20 yrs, I have NEVER seen so many unprofessional and lazy Healthcare workers (can''t call them professional) in my life or under one roof. From the front desk receptionist to the nurses (Ruth & Felicia) were all disrespectful. The only two I can say shown consistent compassion for my mother was physical therapist and CNA Monica. This facility should NOT be open. It needs to be revamped. My mother was transferred to Arbrook Plaza from the hospital for a temporary stay (rehabilitation) until her 2nd surgery. While there for 1.5 wks, she didn''t received physical therapy until 4 days later, not once did her nurse Ruth give her an ice pack for ankle until I asked for one and she had an attitude as if I was bothering her while she sitting at the desk looking at her phone. I could go on & on about this place. I will say IF YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY ......DO NOT SEND THEM HERE....YOU WILL REGRET IT....

My 88 year old father was in the hospital and told he would need rehab before returning home. We were given a list from the hospital of rehab facilities in the metroplex, this list also had reviews attached. There were only 2 facilities in Arlington with 5* reviews. One is attached to but not affiliated with the hospital, the other was Arbrook Plaza. This list will be addressed with the hospital. I decided to take him there thinking the change of scenery would do him good. Upon arrival the lobby is very large and looked decent but very loud. They took my Father to his room, that was not private. The room vas very small for 2 patents. There was no chairs to sit in while visiting and very little room to even stand next to the Bed. The florescent light at the head of the bed was flickering and dim the entire room was dark and gloomy. The place reminded me of what you see on TV with Psychiatric hospitals or scary movies. The staff was not gentle when taking him off the gurney or inspecting him for injuries. My father called me over to hold his hand and said, "God will never forgive you if you leave me here." I was already trying to figure out what my next move was. I spoke to staff at the Desk and told them he was not staying. The desk staff attempted to talk me out of getting him out and became rude. I asked to borrow a walker to get him to the car. There response was " All the therapists have gone home for the day and they didn''t have one available." They finally asked another Patient if they could borrow his wheelchair. The staff did not want to help at all. We were there about 30 min total, and that''s 30 min too long. If you have Family there please get them out, and definitely don''t take your Family there.

This place is a joke, they don’t care about the patients, they don’t rush to clean, bathe or even attend to them when needed. My mother was there for for a couple of days and no therapy was what so ever done. I kept finding pills on the ground all on her bed like aren’t the RNs or the CNAs suppose to wait to see if they take their medication. Smh. They never called or checked her history of why she was there. Her roommate was so rude to us. Just horrible. Had to call the cops just to take her out of that dump. Please DO NOT take your loved one here. I had to leave at least one star or else no one was able to see this post

I struggled to find the best rehabilitation facility to fit my mom’s needs following her discharge from the hospital. When my mom was initially admitted to Arbrook, she couldn’t feed herself, bathe or even get out of bed. By the time she was discharged from Arbrook she was feeding herself, utilizing a walker and became more independent. She also developed a close bond with their care team!
