Live Life Your Way at Arbor Palms of Anaheim
Arbor Palms of Anaheim has one overarching goal: do everything they can to help seniors live life their way. After all, they’ve earned it! It starts with stellar, compassionate care for some of the daily tasks that may have become difficult, whether it’s bathing, grooming, continence, or mobility. This comprehensive support frees seniors up to engage with the packed events calendar. Every day brings fresh opportunities to learn something new, get fit, make friends and enjoy some relaxation. Seniors here do things like join the book club, start cornhole tournaments, go to cooking demos and belt out their favorite tunes on karaoke nights. If they don’t feel like being social, residents can sit out in the sunny courtyard, relax with a book in the library or grab a coffee at the cafe and enjoy some alone time in their apartments.
Residents here love getting out to see the Anaheim area, too. They can take strolls at Twila Reid Park, see history at the Fullerton Museum Center and check out the shops and eateries of the Downtown Disney District.

Take your love one (LO) somewhere else. They deserve better than this place. The new owners are greedy. Since they have taken over, move than half the residents left in memory care left. The room rent went up 50% to give the “staff a raise”. No sure how that’s our job!?!? Then they are adding this and that. Our rent is now more than doubled and till going up every couple of months! Care is worse than before!! They are using our money to do renovations! Many staff have left and they are cutting corners to save money!! The memory care unit smells all the time. Your LO’s would watch movies on a shared 24” TV in the rec room, movie streaming from the FREE YouTube channel. When commercials come on, the volume is on max and scares the residents and staff. Food never looks good. Looks like school lunches from back in the days. My LO would sit in their own filthy diaper and food all over her face and clothing. LO’s spouse also came to live here … fell and never recovered. Save the yourself the time and energy and skip this place!

My father-in-law has really thrived at Arbor Palms Senior Living. He enjoys the meals, the staff are friendly, the laundry is handled appropriately, and the room is clean. The facility is inviting and the staff have always been welcoming. Unfortunately, the facility is under new management and they saw fit to increase the cost by 75%, which priced us out. The only communication was the 60 day notice which we received via email. it is super disappointing as I would have absolutely recommended this facility to anyone. I understand that it is a business, and I hope that it doesn't have a detrimental effect on the other residents. We are having to relocate my father-in-law after only a couple of months of being here.

I toured Arbor Palms of Anaheim. Everybody was very nice. It's a little more dated community. They didn't have as many nice things, but you're paying for what you get, so it's a little less expensive. The area was not my favorite, the building itself was not my favorite, and parking was not very good. The people were wonderful inside. It seemed clean. I was appreciative that they're keeping the place clean, and the staff was wonderful. However, they didn't have as many outings. One of the things I was very impressed with is that they let the residents choose what they do, meaning they have input on meals, trips, movies, entertainment, and things like that. So that part I was impressed with because, in the other places, there's always somebody that's in charge of making those choices. Arbor Palms of Anaheim let the residents participate, which I thought was important because it's their life and it's their entertainment that they should have a say so, and so I was impressed with that.

Arbor Palms of Anaheim was great. It was a nice building. Both the staff and residents that we talked to were really friendly and really open. It felt welcoming and home-like. Stephanie was my point of contact while we were trying to work through the admissions process, and she was great to work with. She was always getting back to me in a timely manner and answering my questions. The memory care rooms we saw looked really nice, really welcoming, open, and comfortable. The dining area was set up nicely. They had very nice little courtyards and gardens. Everybody seemed to be getting along well.
