My family member was discharged from this facility on 6/2022 by Mrs. Rebecca Seen (employee). We received discharged paperwork and prescriptions. We took the prescription to Walgreens. Walgreens accused us of falsifying the prescription. I called back to Appling Healthcare Facility & Mrs. Rebecca Seen (employee) informed me that Mrs. Courtney Good (Nurse Practitioner) wrote the prescription. Everyone blames everyone here! She hung up on me when I confronted her about patients being discharged with incomplete prescriptions and the inconvenience to patients. Next, the manager called and told me the police would be coming to get me. Why would they come to get me? Your company wrote the incomplete prescription without the necessary information on it. This facility is a joke. Please do not send your family members here if they want to live. Trust me, your loved one will have to wait hours at a time before someone comes to check on them. SAD! My family member complained about the facility every day to me. I cannot wait until Walgreens & Appling Healthcare find out no one altered the prescription. Maybe, we will get an apology when it comes to the light. Please take responsibility that you didn’t do your job by filling out the prescription correctly, Mrs. Courtney Good or Mrs. Rebecca Seen! Also, Management upholds their employees when you have concerns. Instead of fixing the problem. Management hung up too. SMH! So please stay away from this place. Please feel free to contact us for our personal experience. Two employees hung up on me. So please let this be a warning to you that your concerns will not be addressed if you take it to management. They have the money! Now they are dismissal! Sad!

I witnessed bullying. I saw the elderly pushed down to the floor and punched. I saw patients overmedicated and experiencing terrible side effects. I saw people who should not have been there. I was always sent there because the nursing home I was at was cruel in the same ways, and wanted to hide their crimes from the State. I called the Ombudsman. She called the State. Anyone who called the Ombudsman was sent to Senior Care at Appling, in Baxley Ga. The last time I went the “nurse” put me on medication that was making me sick. She stated that if I refused to take it I would get a shot of geodon. Geodon is for schizophrenia. I had been put on geodon before and it affected my heart. I called my aunt and she came and took me out of Tattnall nursing home. I have never been to Senior Care again. Praise God. Had I continued with that “medication “, it would have killed me. I have no doubt.
