My father has moved into Anthology of Louisville. We love it so far. It's been very accommodating, friendly, and a very quick response to everything. The food is fantastic. I can't think of anything that we don't like. It's been wonderful. I like the staff. There's a nurse who knows all about him. The Social Service people go out of their way to come and make sure that he's included in things. The helpers are very friendly and accommodating. I can say only good things about them. Anybody who goes to visit can go to the cafeteria and eat with them. We had breakfast and it was delicious. I haven't had anything but breakfast. It's very clean. The only thing that concerns me is he is on the second floor and he's wheelchair bound. I'm not sure how well that's going to work. I'm just thinking in case of a fire, that's the only thing that occurs to me. It's beautiful. Everything is well taken care of. They're great. They have happy hour every week and the whole family is always invited. They're having Christmas parties. They have a theater that you can take the whole family to. They have jigsaw puzzles everywhere. There are arts and crafts. There are a lot of activities for people. It's incredible.

I have no complaints about this community. I love the staff and the care I receive. I'm happy with the food and the activities. I feel respected and they preserve my dignity. I love living here and can't imagine being anywhere else.

We thought that Anthology of Louisville was a nice facility, but their memory care was on the third floor. However, they had nice balconies, and they provided activities. The other thing that I found odd was that there weren't a lot of residents out and about. All the other facilities that we toured always had activities going on and always had people out either in the dining rooms or in the TV rooms. But here, we did not see a lot of that. Not that it was a dealbreaker, but it just made me wonder why. The people were nice. It was a fantastic facility, and the price was right. It was just the memory care portion was on that third floor.

Our family had an in person tour with Anthoogy of Louisville and we really liked this community. We were able to meet with the director who took us on the toured and we absolutely loved one but for our Aunt we felt it might just not be the right place. However the staff members we met with were not only knowledgeable about their community but also with the industry as a whole and they did a great job answering all of our questions.

Everything about Anthology of Louisville is perfect. It's immaculate. It's pretty. It's welcoming, clean, and fresh. My mom and I both can't say enough good things about it. The staff is amazing. They are more than I could have hoped for. Everybody knows mom by her name. They know her issues and her likes or dislikes. They are very personable and very engaging. There are tons of activities every day and they encourage her to attend multiple times a day. There's a lot of variety that keeps them interested and engaged. The food is very fresh. They have gourmet chefs on site all day, every day. The residents have meetings with the chefs to say what they like, what they don't like, and what they would like to see more of. The chefs come out and talk to them during meal time so the chef and dining room staff get to know them. They have live music every night. They have people come in and play the guitar or the piano. They have happy hour every evening where they can have alcohol if they want. They have arts and crafts and what they called "a walk down memory lane" where they play old music or look at old pictures. They have fitness instructors come in and lead seated workouts. They go on outings for treats, snacks, shopping, or to the botanical gardens. They bring llamas to the facility and have therapy dog visits weekly. They have just anything you can think of.
