Anchor Bay at East Providence: Your Life, Your Way
Anchor Bay at East Providence wants older adults to feel entirely in control of their lives; the support here is designed to complement, not take away freedom. Caring staff members are on duty 24 hours a day to respond to emergencies, provide wellness check-ins, offer companionship and help with nutritional needs. We have only good to say about Anchor Bay. Everyone is very caring and supportive.

My mom has a great room. She doesn't complain about the food. I am disappointed in the activities in memory care. I go once a week, my sister goes multiple times a week and every time we go they are sitting watching tv. I realize sometimes the activity is on the tv but there isn't a lot of social engagement in the memory care unit. I know some residents are out of the realm of being able to participate. I was hoping they would try to match residents with others of the same "mental" awareness and encourage socializing more.

Aldina is wonderful. Always kind and caring.

I want to give a shout out to the staff at Anchor Bay East Providence. My dad has been there for a few months and then broke his hip. He has been in the hospital and rehab for three months. He now is ready to return to Anchor Bay however, he needs to move up to the third floor memory care unit. April, the director, has been wonderful to work with and has helped tremendously making the transition as smooth as possible. Josh from maintenance, was a God send with helping move his furniture to his new apartment. James from housekeeping, stopped in personally to welcome him back. All of these little things have made this next stage of my dad’s life a little bit easier.

My wife and I moved to Anchor Bay of East Providence in March of 2023. We were immediately greeted by a staff that were welcoming and introduced us to residents who were friendly and helpful. Settling into out new surrounding we were struck by the numerous activities that we could choose on a daily basis. Certain days of the week are set aside for social and cultural events. Another day is set aside for doctor visits where transportation is provided. A big advantage of the facility is that meals, housekeeping, laundry services are provided thereby reliving residents of these tasks. My wife and I have now settled into life here at Anchor Bay and are enjoying ourselves.|
