Very inviting environment. Light and bright. Very homey feeling. They want to engage the residents. I loved how well they took care of my dad. All of the staff are amazing. The place was very clean. We picked this community because, it was close to my house.
They seemed to be very short on staff near the end of our loved ones stay. Our main complaint was for the meals, there were too many sandwiches that were served. Most night meals were sandwiches. Inactive people don't need that much bread in their diets.
Avoid American House at all cost. The CNAs were very kind, but they were so understaffed. They can improve by: adding staff at proper levels, complying with state regulations, and hiring decent cooks and purchasing high-quality nutritious food.

She showed us into a room. They have a lot of good facilities there. They had a nice place for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which she said if they didn't show up, that they actually took their meals to them. I thought it was a good place. They were having a little festival and she called to invite us to come to the festival and the food, but we didn't make it. We met with a lady who took us around, and then we met another one over in memory care that was working with that lady. They were nice, friendly, and courteous. It was a very well-kept facility.
