Prior to my mom being discharged to this facility for long-term care I had some doubts especially after reading some reviews. My experience with this facility has honestly surprised me and I am happy to say that I am very happy and grateful for everything that they are doing for my mom. My mom is diagnosed with early on set Alzheimer’s and has diabetes. Her condition worsened so bad that she can no longer care for herself and requires 24 hour care. After being discharged from the hospital she was so bad that she couldn’t walk, barely ate was so unrecognizably skinny, was very depressed, and withdrawn. Our family could barely recognize her as my mom use to be very independent. This facility has gone above and beyond and nursed my mom back to as healthy as she can get. Yes she’s still a bit withdrawn but physically she’s looking good. The rehab/physical therapy team keeps my mom active and I also noticed that the nurses or CNA always have my mom well dressed, cleaned and her bed made. The facility also has a social calendar where every month there is something to do that the residents can sign up for and they also have a hair dresser who comes every Thursday, family or resident just has to remember to sign up for it. I’m sure there’s more but this is what I’ve seen and experienced so far. I would’ve given the place five stars but yes I agree that inside of nursing area and rooms are very outdated and could probably use an update. My suggestion for anyone who wants or has to bring a family member here is to have an open heart and honestly make sure to keep up with your loved ones. Don’t expect to have facility do everything, you or whomever is in charge of your loved one has to work with them as a team to get the proper care for them and make yourself known. Don’t just come to visit once a month or barely at all and then see things not well or not going the way you would want. Address your needs and the needs of your loved one and make sure to keep up. Also opt out of laundry and do it yourself. Maybe some people don’t mind laundry being mixed in with someone else’s clothes but I personally rather do it for my mom as I’ve always done for her and it keeps me on a regular schedule to come visit. I know that this might not be an option for all but it’s just a suggestion. I hope future families really give this place a chance. I want to give a special shoutout to all the nurses, CNAs, social worker, and basically the whole staff. Thank you for all that you do!!

As of this date, they still haven’t sent him for X-rays because they say he has made no complaints. The even more twisted thing is the fact that there’s an X-ray facility on-site. My uncle is also an amputee. The doors to this place needs to be closed.

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Alecia Charlton, Jaleesa Fulcher, and Princy Chacko. They have always been so professional and so compassionate in taking care of my Aunt. They are always available to answer questions and make sure she is as comfortable as can be. We honestly don’t know what we would do if these wonderful people were not here to help and take care of her. She requires a lot of attention and I can not say enough good things about how well she is taken care of. Thank you
