Aegis Living Napa: You’ve Earned This
Aegis Living Napa, an assisted living and memory care community in Napa, CA, knows that seniors have earned every moment of this free time, and they want them to spend it however they want. That’s why the community offers so many amenities and activities. Residents spend their days joining group exercises, doing choir practices, gathering for happy hour socials, and attending events with the children from the nearby Kolbe Academy (activities are based around Aegis’ Seven Dimensions of Health and Wellness). Aegis Living Napa also boasts a community garden, a sun-drenched front patio, and a beautiful dining room, where seniors gather to chat, laugh, and enjoy five-star, locally sourced meals.
There’s so much to see and do outside the community, too. Take a ride on the Napa Valley Gondola, see the impressive collection at di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art, go for a leisurely walk at Alston Park and, of course, visit some of the most famous wineries in the country. Aegis Living Napa is also conveniently located near world-class healthcare options like Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center, Napa State Hospital, and Petaluma Valley Hospital.
Aegis Living Napa: Superior Assisted Living and Memory Care
Some of the caretakers at Aegis Living Napa have been here since the community opened in 1999; these compassionate professionals develop personal relationships with each resident and give them the care they need to be independent. That includes things like medication management and assistance with daily personal care needs such as getting dressed, taking a bath, and getting around the facility.
Seniors with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia can opt for Life’s Neighborhood, a special program that includes music therapy, secure outdoor spaces, personalized care, and a separate activities calendar designed to nourish the mind, body, and spirit.
Aegis Living Napa also offers respite care. To find out more about short-term stays and other care options at the community, use the links above. They’ll let you request specific info, see à la carte pricing menus, and schedule a tour.
There are 11 hospitals within 25 miles of Aegis Living Napa. The two closest hospitals are Queen Of The Valley Medical Center which is 0.9 miles away and Sonoma Valley Hospital which is 8.6 miles away.

The management of the facility is poor and employee training is terrible. Aegis is going through their fifth Covid lockdown so we are unable to visit our family member. The food is unhealthy and not appropriate for seniors and the employees mostly sit around and watch the residents, rarely engaging with them or making sure that they are safe. Aegis is a beautiful facility but it is terribly expensive and the care is not commensurate with the cost.

Thank you, Aegis, for for establishing safe in-person visiting areas so we can hold my father’s hand once again. Your staff is so warm and helpful, but there is no substitute for family visits. Our father’s deafness allows him to only understand us if we talk immediately into his left ear, so seeing him in a normal manner is helping bring him out of his loneliness, in a way the well-intended visiting-kiosk didn’t.

Thank you Aegis staff for helping our family through a difficult time. During our review of different facilities, Aegis immediately stood out as our favorite. From the gate, staff was very pleasant and interested in meeting our needs....they all greeted us with a smile, told us who they were and what they did...without any prompting. When you walk in the door, they greet you right away and see to your needs. I''ve shown up unexpectedly, staff dropped what they were doing and accommodated me. If I have a question, I get an answer that same day. The facility is comfortable and welcoming and we have no doubt that our family members will be well taken care of. I love their "can do" enthusiasm and look forward to our family joining this community! UPDATE: It has been just over one year since our parents became part of the Napa Aegis community. Sadly, within a few months of their arrival...our Mom passed from pancreatic cancer. Throughout this journey and most difficult time.....Aegis staff continually cared for us all with compassion and a sincere desire to do whatever they could to make this difficult transition. It has been one year since her passing. Our Dad misses her terribly.....this has been a very difficult adjustment for him. Everyone at Aegis takes his care and emotional well being very seriously (particularly given the impossible constraints of Covid). We honestly don''t know what we would do without the care and attention he receives at Aegis. We feel extremely lucky to be part of such a great community. They continue to be compassionate, ready to help in any way possible, and quick to come to resolution when need be. THANK YOU TO ALL AEGIS STAFF.....so much appreciated and valued!
