Stone Hill is amazing! Every staff member knows each resident and has a personal relationship with them. My story: I moved here from Northern NH because I fell in love with a man that lived here. I had been at my previous job at Garnet Hill in Franconia, NH for 10 years and they were my family. The decision to leave my job was the hardest decision I had to make. It was harder then deciding to leave my family because I knew I could go back and see my family, but my Garnet Hill job would be lost forever. When I first moved here I worked at the corporate office for Brookstone in Merrimack, NH. I missed my job at Garnet Hill. I was unemployed for 10 months and became very depressed. I had applied and applied for countless jobs. FINALLY, I got a call back from this new place called Stone Hill at Andover. I had applied to be a server. Serving was in my background, but working with seniors was not, but how hard could it be? I was hired as a server in May of 2019 and promoted to Dining Room Manager that November. What a fun job it was. Serving the residents was a blast. To be able to make their day, sing happy birthday to them, getting to know their favorites and being able to sit down with them for a moment to learn about them were my favorite parts of the job. Karla, our Executive Director and the entire team felt like my family. I had finally found my Garnet Hill family feeling again at Stone Hill, THANK GOD! I left Stone Hill for a little bit for another opportunity, which didn''t work for me and in the meantime Karla and I always stayed in touch and she presented me with the Sales Associate opportunity. Again, I had no experience in the sales field, but hey let''s give it a try. I was finally back with my family again! Being the Sales Associate has been nothing short of amazing. Working with and getting to know the families and residents before they arrive at Stone Hill is amazing. I get to welcome the residents to their new apartments and see the joy on their face. Stone Hill is amazing and I am so glad I found my family in this beautiful place again!
