Rising Mountains Assisted Living in Bigfork has a policy to not employ convicted felons. Yet, Kristen Cattaneo, a felon convicted of stealing money from her employer in 2014 has been with Rising Mountains for several years. She has manipulated elderly residents into giving her money for her rent, kids birthday and Christmas presents, and even a down payment on her new truck. She also had a resident co-sign on the loan for her truck. That resident, who has now passed away, owned a suburban which is now in the possession of Ms. Cattaneo. The supervisor for Rising Mountains has been aware of this maipulation of the elderly, yet she doesn't seem to care. Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't want my elderly family members to be taken advantage of while under the care of their assisted living facility. Something needs to be done about this!
