DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!! I just want to start off by saying I chose this place because I heard great things about the care here and I truly trusted this place but unfortunately my experience was anything but pleasant. My dad was here for 2 weeks and within those 2 weeks they managed to lose over half of his belongings with no answers as to where it went or what happened just a lot of “I think this and that”… they also managed to ruin a pair of his pants and couldn’t tell us how or even let us know until I found them stuffed in his closet. They didn’t properly bathe my dad or do oral care until I again had to say something. (At that point he was there for a week without proper care) The lack of passion and empathy I had to endure within those 2 weeks of my dad being there and then passing away there was very hard. The last 2 weeks of my dads life was hard. Then to top it all off my dad passed away in a shirt that I was hoping to keep but nope they apparently threw that away too. I will never recommend this place to anyone. I truly hope this place turns around and brings in more CNA’s who truly care about their job and know what sympathy/empathy is.

No healthcare facility is without incredible challenges and epic staffing shortages - all thanks to this crazy pandemic. I''ve worked with Parkridge (along with 12 other providers) for almost a year now and watched their evolution through the industry insanity. Out of sheer love and will, they just never give up! I have zero doubt that when the pandemic is fully behind us, Parkridge will be back to its 5-star self. In the interim, a stay at ANY long-term, skilled facility or even hospital, is going to require patience and a willingness to collaborate.

Not the place to work for me. Zero orientation, chaotic, few staff that aren’t from agency. They don’t care enough about new nurses to take the time to invest in their training; which explains the high turnover rate. When you let them know you expect to be trained in your new position; they would rather let you walk out the door then take that time. Beautiful facility that is beyond dysfunctional. Resident care definitely questionable. Very disappointing experience for sure.
Read moreThe care is phenomenal. The therapy, food, and all cares are 5 stars. The building and grounds are extremely clean and modern. You really have a feeling the staff cares about your loved one. Would highly recommend!

I had a family member that lived here for a while and to say she was neglected would be an understatement. Just walking into the facility you can hear the chaos and cries for help. I also worked here for a whole two week before I couldn’t take it any longer. During my first day of orientation you could hear a women scream, yelling, and banging on things from in the bathroom while no one was in site to help her. Residents being left/forgotten about on toilets for an hour was apparently a common thing I found out quickly, people not getting fed meals, showers not be given, very verbally abusive CNAs, RNs “fudging” documents to cover their own selves. Throughout my employment corporate was also very present. Mind blowing how even with the “big wigs” in the building these poor residents are still being treated like trash. And then to top it all off they don’t keep records on their employees like they should. It’s hard to find a decent nursing facility these days but this one should be shut down completely.
