I was there for about a month and a half after a car accident, a couple of the staff was great but others not so much, food was atrocious, I would actually have aids come tell me what not to eat without even asking, I wouldn’t have fed half of what they gave me to my dog but I was able to have food brought to me about every day, the therapists were helpful and do their best but have limited resources, in my experience a lot of the staff are used to dealing with patients that either don’t or can’t speak for themselves and don’t like it when someone tells them what they need or disagrees with them (medically speaking), I disagreed with a nurse about my health once politely and had to have a talk about being snappy and having a poor attitude

I worked at another facility before Heartland and felt that the people there were just there for a paycheck, at Heartland I feel that all the employees treat the residents like family. I even put my mom at Heartland of Three Rivers for rehab after foot surgery. Not a better place to work or have your loved one.
