If I could put a negative 1 than I would. DO NOT SEND YOUR FAMILY HERE!! If you want your family verbally abused and forced there medication then this is the place for you. Nurses, aids, agency patients are all at one time or another belittled by a certain someone in there. This place is a disgrace. The DON laughs at you when you report an issue, especially if it''s with one of the nurses , she must not believe in safety of the patients there. The administrator accuses people of exaggerating on incident reports. I have enough knowledge to know that this place is not adequate as far as there "special" staff goes.

I don''t like to leave negative reviews. It''s taken 2 years for me to get to this. During the the height of the pandemic I had a loved one here who was dying of cancer and moved here when recovering from a recent fall + covid. The neglect and lack of attention to detail made a terrible time even worse. We moved her out as quickly as we could. Even on her last day as we were on route to pick her up - despite her being a high fall risk - she was left unattended and fell. Please - avoid unnecessary heartbreak and stress and avoid this place if possible.

I picked up a shift here through a staffing agency I have to say I was impressed and I don''t usually write reviews but this place is by far one of the cleanest facilities I''ve stepped into! I was given a walk through by one of the aides she had no problem with showing me where everything was and telling me about each resident I had on my assignment. Most places you barely get a hello out of half the staff. The ppl I worked with on my shift was super cool and we helped each other another thing you barelysee when you come in as agency staff. They had plenty of supplies linen was a little short but every facility is having the same issue. The residents were very nice as well as the supervisors . I will definitely pick up here again.

Absolute bummer experience last week. My grandfather was here for rehab last year and they did a great job communicating with me (Joy is the best), and he came home truly rehabbed for mobility and in much better spirits. That was on the 2nd or 3rd floor. They really had their game together during the tail end of the peak of COVID for 2021. My experience this time around... We were assured a lot by the director Ms. Claudette, and look, she absolutely did what she could. I do not doubt intentions here, they''re all good----however, the 1st floor desk staff this past weekend were kind of nightmares (not including the nurse, she was great and down to earth). The agency CNAs were attentive the two days prior, really sweet, really on it. I guess this is a burnout/bad apple situation, because when I visited my grandfather was slumped, pretty dirty after needing help eating with debris everywhere on his face, and had a large new bruise on the side of his cheek. The guardrails towards the top of the bed are metal, and Pennsylvania has a lot of archaic laws regarding what qualifies as a restraint, so the rehab couldn''t pad them (we did it ourselves anyway, but the padding rotated and exposed the metal). Anyway, I had him sent to the ER to be looked at because he already had a brain injury, and when the medics transferred him to a gurney, he was SOAKED through his adult brief, and these are they heavy duty ones. I am experienced in changing adult overnight brief/diapers, and they do not get that wet in even 6 hours-----he was clearly neglected for rounds. Every two hour brief checks is industry standard. I get that people are burned out in this industry but time to either pay more or hold some accountability...I don''t even think we need to be treated with customer service kid gloves, if someone was rude to me but the care was excellent I would take the trade. Being soaked through a diaper is completely unacceptable and it was day shift.

My experience with the staff and initial intake was wonderful. Ms Claudette in Admissions was an absolute Angel sent from above. She WBA’s very professional and caring. She made sure my Aunt and I were comfortable and knew everything about the facility. Ms Claudette went over and above to assure we were comfortable with the transfer and my mom move. I’m looking forward to a long and prosperous bond with Fairview and their staff.
