I would give it ZERO stars if I could. My grandfather was in this facility for at least two months and half of the time he was in the hospital because of neglect. The staff has broken his glasses, refused to feed him since he couldn''t do it himself. He was dehydrated and had kidney failure because they weren''t giving him water either. He had bruises all over his face "from a fall" but he cannot move without assistance. He was very malnourished. Anytime he would see a nurse that hurt him, he would have a panic attack and cling to my grandmother. We tried to make a report while he was still there and they retaliated, refusing to investigate the staff. They misdiagnosed him with dementia but he has a very good memory and was able to tell me everything that happened and what day it happened. I am glad he is in a better home because now I can report this place. Additionally, as of today, February 28, 2022 ... I spoke with Ashley in HR who was very helpful, leading me to an administrator, Aaron, to file my complaint with him. Apparently my complaint is irrelevant because my grandfather isn''t at the facility anymore, even though I told him that every time my family made a complaint, the staff retaliated. I felt rushed off the phone and pushed away and told it would be investigated, but it didn''t seem sincere. I am really fed up with this location and will escalate this issue to higher authorities since no one is taking this matter seriously.
