Live a Worry-Free Lifestyle at Caswell House
Caswell House is an assisted living and memory care facility in the quaint Southern town of Yanceyville, NC. Things move a little slower here, which gives seniors time to stop and enjoy the beautiful things life has to offer. For some, that means strolling the verdant walking paths at Maud Gatewood Park, touring the Richmond-Miles History Museum or hitting the links at Caswell Pines Golf Club. For others, it’s relaxing at the on-site spa, curling up with a good book in front of the fireplace or getting their hair done at Caswell House’s full-service beauty salon.
There’s also an events calendar each month packed with fun, engaging activities. On any given day, you might find seniors taking a physical fitness class, attending an ice cream social, gathering for live entertainment or grabbing popcorn for movie night.
Caswell House: Personalized Care Options for Every Senior
The first thing new residents (and their family members) do at Caswell House is sit down with staff and work out a personalized care plan that incorporates medical needs, lifestyle preferences, dietary tastes and the level of assistance they need. Dedicated caregivers are on site 24 hours a day to help with medication management, arrange transportation to appointments and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing and getting around the community. On-call physician services are also available, and external medical care is minutes away at Caswell Family Medical Center.
The same thing happens with seniors heading to the memory care program — family and staff design a care plan that offers physical fitness, provides mental stimulation and reduces anxiety. In addition, plans are regularly reassessed to ensure older adults get the care they need to thrive.
Caswell House also offers respite care, which is an excellent way to give regular caretakers a break or give the community a trial run before moving in permanently. Respite care seniors enjoy the same amenities as permanent residents, including housekeeping, maintenance and three delicious meals a day.
If Caswell House sounds like a great option, you can learn more by clicking the links above; they let you request more info, schedule a tour and see how much this care might cost.

I have visited my husband every other day since he has been there. This place needs more help and they definitely need to pay their workers more than 11 dollars a hour. The worker that are there are great, but they do more than one job. There is a big turnover there. Every time I go there there are new people. If workers are getting paid for their work, they will stay. These workers are taking care of our love one. People working need to get paid a fair pay. I have seen office workers help serve food. I have seen one patient pushing another patient in a wheelchair . No worker in sight. One person in the dinning room with 7 or 8 patients trying to feed two patients at a time. Really please do better
