I was there for nearly 13 weeks for Rehab after a medical situation. Long enough to observe how they treated long time residents vs those there for short term. They are on the lower scale of cost for many on Medicaid and other forms of Federal Insurance programs - very few are private pay, if any. They refused to honor my Primary Care Physician''s diets claiming they only do one kind because it costs to much to do separate diets for each patient. While they also claim to have a full service rehabilitation services as well as equipment, it barely squeaks as being a "full" service; more like 1/4 service if even that. Most of the equipment didn''t actually work correctly and the furniture they were using created more problems for my condition than warranted. Plus, their therapists, while Certified, they did not have advanced degrees relying, instead, on sub-contractors to evaluate patient conditions. The other issue is one bathroom could be shared by four (4) people or more which presents extreme sanitary conditions. And when they make huge errors they never apologized for those errors instead they only ignored them. Many times, rooms were not being cleaned properly nor linens changed. And, theft of clothes as well as hangers was rife with issues. The choice for meals was slim to none as well as not making sure that anyone with a serious medical condition was provided the correct kind of meal such as diabetics. If at all possible, find alternatives to this facility if you really care for your loved ones.
