If I could give this place 1 star I would. First I would like the say they have a rotating door for management and coworkers. They have had 4 DON’s & 2 ED’s in the last year. It is not a safe workspace for the workers due to HR having a hard time of being professional. She spreads rumors to othe...
If I could give this place 1 star I would. First I would like the say they have a rotating door for management and coworkers. They have had 4 DON’s & 2 ED’s in the last year. It is not a safe workspace for the workers due to HR having a hard time of being professional. She spreads rumors to other coworkers about workers being fired multiple times and has had many complaints from residents about her being rude which were voiced to the current Executive Director and nothing was done about it. The whole place is filled with workers who are related and often get favoritism. The place is a big high school. They put residents who aren’t appealing to the public eye in the locked down memory care unit and that unit is also neglected.

Executive director Valerie is always a pleasure to partner with in the community. As an employee for comfort keepers I can say she is a pleasure to work with and truly cares about her residents and staff as people not just employees!
My husband was there for two weeks at Thanksgiving not happy never did any of the things they told us that they would do. They did have Covid, At one point everybody had to stand their room most of the time. My husband’s TV messed up. They didn’t give him another one. He had an awful experience ...

They did have Covid, At one point everybody had to stand their room most of the time. My husband’s TV messed up. They didn’t give him another one. He had an awful experience will never come back! They have a new management first person we talked to is very nice had everything planned for us and then we never heard from her again. All they told me was she was not there anymore! Nobody knew what was going on at any time! I do not recommend it! We did everything we were supposed to do and I thought everything was gonna be nice For my husband while I was out of town for two weeks. So sad it was an awful experience!

How often care givers check on residents and actually spend a bi of time with them. They seldom check on them unless you request them to then they will maybe spend 2 minutes with them . They dont always answer the phone for hours at a time They are quick to close their doors to the residents after hospital stays without first working with family to find other options For their care if the lodge doesn’t think they can give sufficient care. Sometimes you can work something out if you plant yourself in front of them and push for close to 2 hours. The staff turn over is crazy high . We keep getting notice of staff leaving. Recent change in leadership led to some favorite staff being terminated or them quitting because of difficult work environment The owner will deny all of this Some staff are really great and caring.
